Confidence Inc. is recalling METABOSLIM TM Apple Cider Vinegar brand dietary supplement, which was found to contain undeclared sibutramine, an appetite suppressant but is not approved by the FDA as a drug.

Sibutramine can increase blood pressure in some people and may present a risk for patients with a history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmia or stroke.

The recall affects products with lot number of 3001006 and a UPC code of 92483 00102. Consumers should return the product to the company for a refund. Call 516-767-1870 for details.
